5-Minute Mobility Yoga Flow | Daily Stretch & Movement Routine

Is it just me, or did summer break go by in the blink of an eye?
As I write this, I’m halfway through the drive to drop my son off at college. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind—busy, emotional, and full in the best ways.
We’ve been getting him ready for this big transition, spending time with family and friends, and soaking in these last moments together before he starts this next chapter. With so much going on, my usual routines—especially working out and doing yoga—took a backseat.
But yesterday, I finally rolled out my mat and moved. Just a few minutes of intentional movement reminded me how grounding it is, how much I’d missed it.
Life gets full. Things shift. But the mat is always there, waiting.
And just movement and stretching for 5 minutes can: Improve circulation: Even short bursts of movement help get your blood flowing, delivering oxygen and nutrients to your muscles and brain.
Release muscle tension: A few mindful stretches can ease tightness in common areas like the neck, back, and hips, especially if you sit for long periods.
Boost mobility and flexibility: Consistent short practices add up over time, helping you stay limber and reducing your risk of injury.
Wakes up the body: A short stretch can shake off grogginess and improve your posture and energy levels almost instantly.
