I am a wife and mama to my human kiddos and an animal mama to many rescued pets on our Golden Hill Ranch. I love sunflowers, the color yellow, and chasing golden hour. I am a little bit crunchy, as my family calls it. Amidst homeschooling and tending to our small farm, you will find me making sourdough bread, goat milk soap, and anything I can use essential oils with. But you will also find me at the Padres game eating my favorite nachos ( balance, right?), I nurture a deep love for outdoor activities like hiking, sup boarding, snowboarding, horseback riding, and yoga, of course.
My teaching fitness began when I became a children's snowboard instructor in 2003. I then became a group fitness instructor in 2008. A few years later, I decided to try a yoga class. I started taking yoga classes regularly and soon fell in love with the practice. What started as a class for me to just stretch, became so much more. My yoga teaching journey started back in 2018. I completed my 200-hour training and became a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). I began teaching at my local gym and different studios throughout my town. In 2019, we decided to homeschool our kids, and that is when I started teaching kids yoga. I now teach children's yoga on our ranch, in-person teen classes, online adult yoga, and private yoga in the beautiful AirBnBs in Temecula Wine County. I feel so grateful to be able to share my love of yoga with all ages. Being a part of people's wellness journey is truly an honor and a gift.

Our Goldens : Lucy, Hunter & Mielé
Our sweet Golden Retrievers, Lucy and Hunter, were such a big part of our lives! Lucy was our first pet and truly the queen of our home, and a few years later, Hunter joined the family. Although they recently passed away, they will always hold a special place in our hearts. We also have Miele, whom we lovingly call Millie. She's absolutely obsessed with balls and has the biggest heart!

Our Beautiful Mares
Harley, our first horse, was gifted to us and brought a calm, steady strength that still grounds our ranch. As an older horse, she teaches patience, trust, and connection.
In 2025, Chyloh joined us—a sweet, overlooked horse now learning to trust, feel safe, and find peace. Together, they are a beautiful reminder of second chances.

The cutest alpacas
Ginger came to us in need of a home when the petting zoo she lived at closed, and quickly found her place here. Soon after, Maryanne was gifted to us from an alpaca rescue so Ginger could have a companion.
Together, these quiet, shy queens have become the sweetest sisters, finding comfort, friendship, and a peaceful life side by side.

the Guardian livestock Dog
Maverick is our first livestock guardian pup, born to a rescued Great Pyrenees with a story of her own. He’s a happy, energetic, and devoted protector. Maverick brings both joy and a strong sense of security to our growing animal family.

the coolest donkey
Duke came to us after his caretaker at a rescue ranch passed away, and we were honored to give him a home and instantly fell in love. He loves hugs, adores his favorite goat Enola, and has a talent for eating everyone else’s hay. His classic donkey bray keeps us laughing daily.

the funny goats
We rescued several mama goats abandoned in the hills, and soon after, nine babies were born here on the ranch. We were able to find loving homes for most of the mamas and babies, while keeping one special mama, Enola, and three babies. With more milk than we could imagine, Enola became the heart behind our goat milk soap, where our soap journey began.

Our free range crew
10 years ago, friends moved to the city, and we adopted their 20 hens. And we have been adopting chickens ever since. Besides our golden retrievers, they were the first animals on Golden Hill Ranch. Over the last 10 years, we have taken in all the chickens who need a place to retire or just need a good home. We love our chickens

resident rodent chasers
Our two cats are quiet and shy, often keeping to themselves. But when it comes to Millie, they can’t resist. They love to snuggle up close and spend their days peacefully napping by her side.
